The Fearful Riders goals and aspirations for the future... kindly suggested by Tracy Dickerson
So, where do I start? Whoever hasn’t notice by now my mind works at 100mph 🤪. I have ideas, goals, dreams and plans for the future. Some are small and some are huge, I have such a passion and drive about horses that I have so many goals. Which sometimes leaves me feeling defeated and confused on how I will get there! However ain’t I so lucky I have something that keeps the fire burning in my stomach and something that gets me up every morning!
Ok, so let’s start with the small goals. My ultimate goal is to keep blue safe and sound, to keep her stifle working correctly and keep her out of the vets as much as possible when it comes to her stifle issues! 🤞🏻Touch wood I’ve managed to do that now for a good few months, and hopefully this year will be the year blue stays sound for it all.
My second small goal is to learn as much as possible about the partnership and craftsmanship that goes into Dressage. I want to learn everything I possibly need to know both in the saddle and the groom side of things... luckily I have been proactive and asked my fabulous instructor who just has to be an amazing dressage rider and trainer if I can tag along with her to her dressage tests and learn the skill. Never be scared to ask questions even if you think they’re silly this is how we stay open minded and educated in the sport we love!
My third small goal is to gain another sponsorship with a equine company. I have been focusing on achieving this within a small business, as I think supporting a small businesses is key. I’ve been in touch with many people. Hopefully will gain some luck with Radiance Gold however only time will tell 🤞🏻🤩❤️
My fourth small goal is to improve in my riding, learn new things and improve the things I already know. This is always going to be ongoing. Because even the best of the best can learn new things and that’s why our sport is just so fun, because there is always new things to try and new things to learn!
Ok, now my big ambitions!!
The more I watch Omega Equine All stars the more I want a lesson with Pammy Hutton Dressage on one of her schoolmasters at The Talland School of Equitation which absolutely makes me feel like a bag of nerves just thinking about it 🤭 but just imagine! What an amazing experience that would be...
I would love The Fearful Rider to become a platform for being with are nervous, for people who are willing to be open about how they feel about riding. I want it to become a safe place and a go to place for people who need more confidence!
I would also be so happy if I manage to get into a career I love, I love working with animals and that is something that I NEED to do in the future... it’ll happen, just don’t know when. 🤔
I’m also so keen to get blue out competing unaffiliated dressage and maybe some fun rides?!🤩
Ultimately I just want to grow, improve, learn and set up a community within the fearful rider... you guys have already made some of my dreams come true so THANK YOU❤️❤️
Be confident, be you, and be open❤️
